Who we are

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, phone number, email, service address.
• What you tell us about the problem and the equipment involved, and what we find when we work on it.
• Records of calls and texts to and from our business number, including voicemail recordings and transcripts (see below).
• Billing details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.

Calls and voicemail

Calls to (207) 804-5719 may be recorded and transcribed so that we can return your call accurately and keep a record of what was agreed. Tell us at the start of the call if you would rather not be recorded and we will take notes by hand instead.

Text messages

We send text messages only for appointment confirmations, arrival notices, and service follow-up.

• How you opt in: you text our business number first, you give us your number on a call and agree to texts, or you tick the box on our intake form. We record how and when each number opted in.
• Frequency: message frequency varies with the work we are doing for you.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages, or HELP for help.
• Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
• We do not sell your mobile number or share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share with

We use service providers to run the business — a telephony provider for calls and texts, and hosting for our website and email. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. We do not sell personal information. We disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics.

How long we keep it

Service records and invoices are kept as long as needed for the work and for tax records. Text message consent records are kept while the number is in use and for a reasonable period after, so that an opt-out is honoured.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email us and we will respond within 30 days. You can stop text messages immediately by replying STOP.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect what we hold, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
